Ethan Page gained popularity in TNA Wrestling, winning multiple tag team titles with Josh Alexander. Afterwards, he joined AEW and became a notable presence on its TV shows. However, he was recently removed from the AEW roster page
Upon arriving in AEW, Ethan Page had solid feuds with the likes of Darby Allin and other top stars. He was consistently part of the mid-card scene in AEW and ROH, but hasn’t touched championship gold in the company.
As previously reported, Ethan Page was removed from the AEW roster page and this made fans wonder whether he was done with the company. Sadly, that is exactly what happened.
According to Fightful Select, Ethan Page is no longer with AEW or Ring of Honor. It was further added that Page had expressed a desire to leave the company as early as February.
”After his removal from the AEW roster page, Fightful has just confirmed that Ethan Page is no longer with AEW/ROH. According to sources, Page had expressed a desire to leave AEW as early as February.
Word within the industry was that Ethan Page was looking to finish up with AEW/ROH a few months ago. We’re told word within the company was that happened.”
Ethan Page’s talent in the ring and on the mic had many predicting he’d be a top contender in AEW. Despite hints of a push, his screen time on AEW was limited, and he primarily appeared on ROH shows in recent months.
In the meantime, Ethan Page has been booking more indie wrestling events and has resumed promoting Alpha-1 Wrestling. We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Ethan Page now that he is no longer part of AEW.
