Chelsea Green’s Long-Term Plans After WWE NXT Appearance Unveiled

Chelsea Green has gained recognition as one of WWE’s most eye-catching stars, and her surprise appearance at the end of WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ continued to build on that reputation. After her return, WWE’s long-term plans for Green after her NXT appearance have now been revealed.

At the conclusion of the show, NXT General Manager Ava announced to NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez that she would be defending her title next week against Chelsea Green, which is obviously a huge deal for Green.

Chelsea Green also reunited with Mr. Stone following NXT this week and this made fans wonder if the company actually has plans to pair the two up again like old times.

Fightful Select reports that Chelsea Green has been a talent requested in NXT for quite some time. There have been pitches to bring Green back to NXT since Von Wagner’s release, with suggestions to reunite her with Robert Stone, who has been part of the NXT brand. Additionally, discussions have taken place about pairing Green with Stone on the main roster.

Chelsea Green also didn’t remain backstage for long before her NXT appearance. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how WWE will book Chelsea Green and Roxanne Perez’s match next week.
