The viewership numbers for the May 1st episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS have been released and this will certainly lead to a lot of discussions among fans once again.
According to Dave Meltzer, the May 1st edition of AEW Dynamite drew 703,000 viewers and achieved rating of 0.24 in the coveted 18-49 demographic. This is an increase from last week’s show, which got 683,000 viewers and a demo rating of 0.23 as well.
In contrast to its usual Friday slot, Rampage aired live immediately after and garnered 431,000 viewers with a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This marked a 47% increase from the preceding Rampage following Collision, which drew 293,000 viewers and a 0.09 rating in the same demographic.
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured Swerve Strickland beginning a feud with Christian Cage, The Elite destroying Kenny Omega to close out the show and even more incidents.
