Michin struggled to bring AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson together, but their efforts ultimately proved futile. Consequently, Michin opted to pursue a singles career and following her NXT appearance this week, Michin made it clear she wants championship gold.
On the April 30 episode of WWE NXT, Michin made an appearance after Ava revealed that the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion would be determined in a Ladder Match at NXT Battleground.
While speaking in an NXT Exclusive, Michin talked about her epic return as she expressed her desire to compete for the title and mentioned that she had unfinished business in NXT.
“Listen, I’m just going back to me, my roots, my foundation. We starting back at home, where I grew up, NXT.”
Michin explained that she originally visited NXT to support her friends, but when she heard about the Ladder Match for the championship, she knew it was her moment to shine.
“I was originally here just supporting my boys like I always do, and then I heard the word ‘ladder’, and then, ‘championship.’ I was like, ‘Nah, this is my time. I’m ready to go.’ So I went out there, said my piece. I was a part of history originally here, and now I’m about to make history. The H.B.I.C. of NXT is back.”
We will have to wait and see whether Michin will end up becoming the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion, as fans would be more than happy to see her win championship gold.
