The OC Wished They Had an Extended NXT Stint upon WWE Return

The OC (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson), made an appearance on WWE NXT in February and have since been a consistent part of the programming. Recently while discussing their return, the duo expressed that they wished for more time in NXT when they originally returned to the company in October 2022.

During a recent appearance on Talk’n Shop, Anderson shared that they enjoyed their time in NXT and wished they could have worked closer with Triple H, forming a stronger bond. Gallows shared the same sentiment as he stated the importance of Triple H getting to know them better as individuals and understanding their passion for wrestling.

“Our time in NXT was great. I wish we would have spent more time in NXT earlier when we came back to WWE, just a little bit, we could have worked closer with Hunter [Triple H],” said Anderson.

Gallows added, “That would have been a good thing. Just to form the bond a little bit more. Him getting to know us as people and our passion would be a good thing.”

Anderson concluded by saying, “You can say what you want about us, just know that as people we are passionate about professional wrestling and doing what we do.”

After facing a series of setbacks due to injuries upon their return in 2022, the duo finally made a significant comeback on NXT in February, putting an end to their 8-month losing streak on WWE television. The duo is now gearing up for their upcoming match against Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe at NXT Spring Breakin’ on April 30.
