CM Punk is considered one of the most influential and highly accomplished WWE superstars of all time. However, on tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW, one of his accolades flashing on the screens was not accurate.
The Best in the World was announced as the first pick in Round Two of the WWE Draft 2024. As his graphic appeared on screen, one of CM Punk’s accomplishments listed him as a ‘Grand Slam Champion.’
The feat is achieved by a certain WWE superstar who manages to capture four specific championships within a promotion or all titles available. In the case of CM Punk, he has managed to capture three different titles in WWE, making him a Triple Crown champion and not a Grand Slam.
Apart from his inaccurate accolade, CM Punk played mind games with his arch-rival, Drew McIntyre on RAW tonight, who revealed that Punk was responsible for his recent elbow injury. Moreover, Punk outsmarted him luring him up to the skybox only to himself appear inside the ring and verbally tear apart The Scottish Warrior in record time.
