Former Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair has been out of action from WWE for months now. The Queen tore her MCL, ACL, and meniscus and had to undergo a surgery to get things back on track. However, her return to the squared circle still seems to be far away.
A few days ago, Charlotte Flair was seen training at the WWE Performance Center, using her rehab time to get better with every step. The Queen was also spotted backstage at the Grandest Stage of them All this year.
During an appearance on the Busted Open Radio, Ric Flair addressed Charlotte Flair’s injury and gave an update on her health. The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that her daughter was way ahead of her doctors with her recovery but is seemingly bound to complete her nine-month-rehab before making a return to the ring.
“She’s so far ahead now in this rehab. But she just has to, you know, keep it in mind that she’s gotta follow Dr.’s dues and orders, and it’s got to be a nine-month recovery, no matter how good she feels… To be the athlete that she wants to be and do all these Corkscrew Moonsaults and stuff like that, she’s got to be at a hundred percent.”
While Charlotte Flair is ahead of her rehab schedule, taking time to heal and then returning would be the best decision. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
