Kurt Angle Willing to Make WWE Return As Chad Gable’s Manager

Chad Gable and Sami Zayn recently faced off in an intense match for the Intercontinental Championship. Despite Gable’s impressive performance and strong wrestling skills, he ultimately fell short and couldn’t capture the title from Zayn. The match was a hard-fought battle, but Gable’s frustration at the loss led to an unexpected outcome: he turned heel, attacking Zayn after the match. Interestingly, has expressed interest in returning to WWE as Gable’s manager.

Chad Gable has long been likened to Kurt Angle due to their shared backgrounds in amateur wrestling and Olympic-level competition. At one point, rumors circulated that Gable would be unveiled as Angle’s on-screen son, but WWE ultimately chose Jason Jordan for that role. With Gable’s recent transformation into a heel character, the connection between him and Kurt Angle has gained renewed interest.

On his The Kurt Angle Show podcast, Kurt Angle addressed Chad Gable’s new direction and was asked if he would be interested in managing Gable as a heel advocate and potentially reviving Team Angle. The Hall of Famer responded positively, noting that he would consider it, but under one condition: it must be worth his time and effort.

‘‘They never actually considered that [heel manager], at least with Chad. For some reason, they never decided to do another Team Angle or me team up with Alpha Academy. I think that would be a great idea. If I were going to do it, it has to be worth it to me.”

Chad Gable even recently noted that fans are finally seeing the real version of him. It remains to be seen whether The Olympic Gold Medalist will return to WWE television and join Gable as a manager.
