AEW Appoints New Director of Live Events

AEW has seen a ton of changes and growth over the past few years, but their live events haven’t exactly taken off just yet, as the concept has been put on hold. Keeping that in mind, AEW has now hired a new Director of Live Events.

According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, Jeremy Flynn has been appointed as the new Director of Live Events for All Elite Wrestling. Flynn’s background includes experience as the Senior Director of Marketing, Live Events for Professional Bull Riders. His academic credentials include an MBA in Business Administration and a BBA in Marketing from the University of Central Arkansas.

Flynn’s new role involves managing and overseeing AEW’s live events, a crucial aspect of the company’s growth and fan engagement. His appointment follows the departure of Rafael Morffi, who served as AEW’s Vice President of Live Events/Touring from June 2019 to December 2023. Morffi has since taken a position at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
