Drew McIntyre has risen to prominence in recent months, largely due to his strong social media presence and consistent performance in WWE. As a dedicated professional, McIntyre has established himself as a “company man,” always giving his best in every situation. However, The Scottish Warrior has been pulled from multiple WWE shows due to injury.
Drew McIntyre’s recent injury, a hyperextended elbow, is believed to have occurred during his WrestleMania match against Seth Rollins. Despite the injury, McIntyre continued to compete, participating in five matches afterwards, including a four-way on the Raw following WrestleMania and four singles matches against Jey Uso during this month’s UK tour.
However, the latest Wrestling Observer Daily Update reports that McIntyre will now be “off house shows for now” due to the injury. This adjustment to his schedule is intended to allow him time to recover and prevent further damage to his elbow.
”McIntyre will be off the house shows for now due to his hyperextended elbow but will be making TVs.”
While he was able to perform in several matches post-WrestleMania, the decision to take him off house shows underscores the need to prioritize his health and avoid exacerbating the injury.
In the meantime, Drew McIntyre finally signed new deal with WWE and we have also reported when the two parties came to terms on new deal. Nonetheless, we will have to wait and see when McIntyre will be able to heal from his injury fully.
