Drew McIntyre’s future with WWE has been a subject of speculation as his contract is reportedly set to expire this year. For a significant period, he hadn’t signed a new contract, but that changed as he finally signed a new deal and now details about the contract have been revealed.

As previously noted, Drew McIntyre was exploring various options as his contract expiration date approached. Nonetheless, many fans were convinced that there was no conceivable way McIntyre would depart from WWE.

That turned out to be true as Drew McIntyre finally signed a new deal with WWE. According to a report from Fightful Select, Drew McIntyre began negotiating a new WWE contract in March, with the final agreement being reached recently after extensive discussions.

The report indicates that there was “a lot of back and forth” during the negotiation process, suggesting that both parties took time to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome. Ultimately, McIntyre is reportedly pleased with the terms of the deal, which is described as a “multi-year, big money deal.”

According to a report by PWInsider, WWE and Drew McIntyre reached an agreement on a new contract just a few days ago, after a protracted negotiation process. Despite The Rock’s earlier Instagram video suggesting an earlier agreement, the video was shot in advance to be used once the deal was finalized.

The finalized contract is a multi-year deal, with both WWE and McIntyre expressing satisfaction with the outcome. One source indicated that the agreement is for a period of about three years, providing McIntyre with a stable platform in WWE for the foreseeable future.

”WWE & Drew McIntyre finally came to terms on a new deal about 2-3 days ago. The video that The Rock posted on his Instagram was actually shot well before that in advance so WWE had something they could put out once they finalized negotiations, but discussions weren’t concluded until just a few days ago. It’s a multi-year deal and both sides are extremely happy with it. One source believed the deal was in the area of 3 years.”

Drew McIntyre, despite currently nursing an elbow injury, remains a crucial member of WWE’s roster. As the WWE Raw draft approaches, there’s heightened anticipation regarding McIntyre’s return and his potential role in future storylines, now that he is sticking with WWE in the long run.
