This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite delivered a dramatic shocker as The Elite and Jack Perry teamed up to attack AEW CEO Tony Khan, creating a jaw-dropping moment that concluded the show. It also appears that a medical update on Khan will be provided on Collision this week.
Khan found himself in a precarious situation following a surprising ambush led by Jack Perry. Khan was in the midst of what appeared to be a reconciliation attempt with Perry when the latter unexpectedly attacked him, striking him in the gut. This initial assault quickly escalated as The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada joined Perry, resulting in Khan being left incapacitated in the ring.
It was then reported that Tony Khan went above and beyond to sell the effects of the heinous assault. Therefore, it came as no surprise Khan sported neck brace during his appearance at the 2024 NFL Draft.
AEW took to Twitter and announced that an update on Tony Khan’s medical condition will be provided during the April 27th episode of AEW Collision.
”AEWCollision TONIGHT right after @NBAonTNT ! We’ll have an update on the medical condition of #AEW GM & CEO @TonyKhan , after he was attacked by #theElite on #AEWDynamite. #AEW Collision + #AEWRampage starting immediately following @Celtics vs @MiamiHEAT TONIGHT on TNT!”
It’s worth noting that Tony Khan was seen wearing a neck brace during Day 3 of the NFL Draft, adding to the intrigue about his health and the reason behind the medical update announced by All Elite Wrestling. Despite the visible brace, Khan remained active, but his condition’s severity or origin remains unknown.
