Two Matches & Segments Announced for 5/3 WWE SmackDown

The first night of the WWE Draft is officially in the books with a completely revamped taking shape. However, witnessing the events on the blue brand on tonight’s edition of the show, two major matches and segments have been announced for next week’s show.

After tensions were raised between Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles during their contract signing, it was announced the duo would come face-to-face on SmackDown next week, one night before they square off against each other with the Undisputed WWE title at stake.

Furthermore, next week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown will see the debut of the ‘RKO show’ hosted by Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to possibly address their upcoming tag team bout against Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga at WWE Backlash France.

Finally, next week’s SmackDown will see two tag team matches with A-Town Down Under defending their WWE tag team titles against The Street Profits and New Catch Republic looking to exact revenge from The Authors of Pain following their backstage beatdown on them on tonight’s show.
