Montez Ford, known for his incredible athleticism and energetic performances, is a beloved WWE Superstar. On the occasion of his 9-year anniversary with WWE, he shared an emotional message reflecting on his journey and expressing gratitude to his fans, colleagues, and the entire WWE family.
Ford has been part of The Pride faction with Bobby Lashley and Angelo Dawkins, feuding with Karrion Kross’ Final Testament. Although the group hasn’t seen overwhelming success, they did manage to secure a significant victory against Karrion Kross at WrestleMania 40 in the Philadelphia Street Fight.
Ford took to his Instagram and expressed his gratitude to the WWE for allowing him to live his dream, acknowledging the significant growth and changes in his life since he began his career with the company in April 2015.
Despite starting with no wrestling experience, he’s been able to reach significant milestones. His message reflects not just his personal journey, but also the support from his family and the valuable lessons learned along the way. He noted the highs and lows, the weight loss, and even finding great barbers during his time with WWE, emphasizing how much the experience has meant to him.
”APRIL 2015 —> APRIL 2024
Thank you @WWE for letting me live my dream, the last 9 years. When I first signed with WWE, I had no wrestling experience.
And safe to say, these last 9 years have been the best time of my life. My family, my kids all have seen the changes, growth, highs, lows, Lost weight, found great barber(s).Had some people ask & say, “what have you done lately?” “You should be further in your career,” “you’ve done nothing since you’ve been here but be a husband to Bianca.” 😂😂
Yeah so, what you wife up?! lol
Smile at the negatives, and show them the positives. Keep GOD first, and PUT THE MF WORK IN.
Check my accolades, I/we have been doing this for a min, and glad to let you all know…WE JUST GETTING STARTED.
-Tezzie”
