Liv Morgan Sports Black Eye After Competing in Battle Royal on RAW

Liv Morgan was one of the heavy favorites of becoming the new WWE Women’s World Champion walking into Monday Night RAW last week. However, she did not leave with the title, but with a battle scar.

In the Women’s Battle Royal scheduled for RAW, several top WWE female stars competed to fill the championship vacancy left by Rhea Ripley’s injury caused at the hands of Morgan.

The ultimate conclusion came down between the final two participants, Morgan and Lynch, and ended with The Man executing her signature Manhandle Slam on Morgan on the apron to eliminate her and winning the WWE Women’s World Championship for herself.

Following the events of Monday Night RAW, Liv Morgan took to her Instagram stories to reveal a black eye, possibly suffered during her participation in the Battle Royal where she failed to win the championship.

As WWE moves forward with Becky Lynch as the WWE Women’s World Champion, speculation arises about whether Liv Morgan will seek to dethrone her, perhaps at the upcoming Backlash event on May 4th. With only a week left for the event, we will have to wait and see if the match is indeed set in stone for the WWE PLE in Lyon, France.
