Logan Paul is one of the most well-known celebrities in the world right now, who has seen great success in every avenue he has been a part of. However, being the owner of PRIME energy drink, he always has to deal with lots of accusations and now he has addressed accusations that his energy drink is full of toxins.
As previously reported, Logan Paul’s sports drink called Prime Energy got ton of attention from the FDA. The focus of the investigation revolved around the drink’s high caffeine content, equivalent to that of six cans of Coca-Cola. Clearly, the energy drink is still in the news for all the wrong reasons.
Logan Paul took to his Instagram and uploaded a video, where he addressed accusations made against PRIME in a lawsuit. Logan Paul responded to claims suggesting that Perfluorooctanes (PFOs), potentially harmful chemicals, could be present in PRIME drinks due to the plastic bottles used in their production. Addressing these concerns, he clarified that the plastic bottles used for PRIME drinks are sourced from top manufacturers in the United States, the same ones used by major beverage brands like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Tropicana.
Paul mentioned that PRIME adheres to Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations, which outlines the standards for PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) and other types of plastic bottles used in the beverage industry.
”There’s claims that PFOs come from plastic, so in this case they’re not talking about the actual drink but the bottle that PRIME is bottled in. This ain’t a rinky-dink operation, we use the top bottle manufacturers in the USA. All of your favorite beverage brands, coke, Pepsi, Tropicana, they make bottles from the manufacturers. Accordingly, we follow Title 21 for the Code of Federal Regulations for PET and all other types of bottles. ”
Regardless, we will have to wait and see when The Maverick will make his return to WWE television, as he had a stellar performance at WrestleMania 40 earlier this month already.
