TNA Wrestling is gearing up for what they hope will be a memorable year, despite the departure controversy surrounding Scott D’Amore. Two top TNA stars are now free agents and they bid farewell to TNA today.

As previously reported, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin’s contract would be expiring soon. The duo are scheduled for an appearance for Smash Wrestling in London, Ontario, on April 21, coinciding with TNA’s post-Rebellion TV tapings.

It was then reported that the duo had finished up with TNA and that they are eyeing a move to AEW now that they are free agents. Obviously, their future is a huge topic of discussion.

Chris Sabin took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself with Alex Shelley, as he kept it short and sweet by thanking TNA Wrestling for their time in the company.

”Thank you.”

Both Sabin and Shelley are highly respected in the wrestling community, with Shelley having worked in various promotions including NXT, NJPW, AEW, ROH, and MLW, while Sabin has made appearances in AEW, NJPW, ROH, and CMLL over the past 15 years. It remains to be seen how they will fare in AEW.
