For years now, AEW has established their name by getting some of the top names from WWE to their roster. Former WWE talent and crew going over to the Tony Khan-led company turned out to be a tradition for the past few months with every star joining AEW following their WWE exit.
Some of the biggest names who left WWE to go on to have a run in AEW include the likes of Adam Copeland and Bryan Danielson. However, the Triple H-led company has returned the favour in the past few months as well. Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, and CM Punk’s run in WWE have turned out to be the biggest examples of why AEW talent coming over was a massive plus.
In addition to that, with the massive success WWE has had in the past few months, moving to AEW won’t be a wise decision for any star. As per the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, people backstage believe that the chances of WWE talent moving over to AEW are not very high now.
While numerous WWE superstars have their contracts set to expire and uncertainty lies over their re-signing, it would be a big surprise if they still opt to move to AEW. Ringside News will keep you updated on this story.
