His impressive title run came to an end at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday. After his loss, there is now interest in Gunther’s next steps in WWE. His first television appearance following his loss as Intercontinental Champion has been revealed.
Under Chad Gable’s mentorship, Sami Zayn faced Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday. Although Gunther displayed dominance throughout the match, Zayn’s determination prevailed. He unleashed a series of powerful Helluva Kicks, securing the victory and ending Gunther’s reign as Intercontinental Champion.
According to Wrestle Votes on Twitter, it was reported that The Ring General is set to make his WWE television return on the April 22nd edition of Monday Night RAW.
”Following his IC title loss to Sami Zayn at WM, Gunther is scheduled to return to TV this Monday on RAW.”
Gunther has already competed in his first match since his WrestleMania 40 loss. We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for the former Intercontinental Champion on RAW next week.
