Big E Says There Are ‘More Things Lined Up’ For Him Amidst Hiatus

Big E has been on a break from in-ring competition due to a serious neck injury. While he has been absent from wrestling, Big E has announced that he has several upcoming plans in the works.

Big E has been sidelined since the March 11, 2022 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he sustained broken neck. During his absence from the ring, Big E has remained active with numerous appearances on various shows.

Big E has been active in other capacities within the WWE, making multiple appearances as a host and analyst on the road to WrestleMania, including the WrestleMania XL Kickoff press conference and the Slammys.

In an interview on WWE’s The Bump, Big E shared his enthusiasm for his new roles, expressing that he enjoys exploring different aspects of the wrestling industry. He stated that he’s been having a lot of fun and is excited about future opportunities.

Big E appreciates being a part of the current WWE shows, which have been selling out and generating a lot of excitement. He looks forward to continuing his involvement in this capacity and contributing to the success of the brand.

“It has been a lot of fun. For me, I just want to continue to have fun. I always feel like I’m just winging it. That’s essentially my entire career, is just winging it. So the fact that people seem to enjoy the winging is nice. So I think we have some more things lined up in the future. It’s something I’ve had a ton of fun doing so far, and what I love too is, the product, our shows, are so hot right now. Sell-out after sell-out. The excitement of the product has been incredible. So to be a small part of that has been a joy. So looking forward to doing more of it.”

It is to be noted that Big E recently shared that he may never wrestle again after his neck injury. Thankfully he also shared some good news by revealing his new relationship with Michin’s sister. We’ll have to wait and see what other appearances Big E will make in the coming months.
