WWE has developed numerous stars from a mid-carder to main event megastars since Triple H’s regime in the company kicked off. From Rhea Ripley to LA Knight, numerous stars have got what they deserved and are now considered among some of the top stars in the entire industry.

However, one name that has everyone surprised is Logan Paul. From his debut as a social media celebrity to his current reign as the United States Champion, the Maverick has turned out to be one of the best hirings that the company has ever made. And Paul has not stopped getting better.

During a recent episode of the Grilling JR podcast, WWE legend Jim Ross heaped praise on the United States Champion. Ross stated that Paul was overachieved and was happy that WWE didn’t turn him into a regular star with appearances every week on Raw or Smackdown.

“I think he’s overachieved. I’m pleasantly surprised at how much Logan Paul has developed. I don’t know who behind the scenes is coaching him or working with him but he’s pretty extraordinary. For somebody that’s had 12 matches and performing at the level that he has. He’s in great shape, takes amazing bumps, he’s easy to dislike.”

“I’m a Logan Paul fan. They got a keeper right there. The fact that he’s not wrestling every week on Raw or SmackDown is probably very very smart. Inadvertedly maybe, I don’t know. It’s very smart that he’s not being overexposed while he’s getting his wrestling boots laced tight and getting used to the format, the protocol and so forth. He’s a hell of a performer. That was a great idea this PRIME thing.”

Logan Paul successfully defended his United States Championship in a triple threat match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 40. However, new challenges might be looming around for the Maverick with him being one of the best stars on the roster. Ringside News will keep you updated on this story.
