The new era of WWE has been mesmerizing right from the get-go, with Cody Rhodes positioned as the flagship star, following his amazing triumph over Roman Reigns and dethroning the Tribal Chief to win the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40.
With WrestleMania season behind them, Cody Rhodes is now looking forward to his first challenger at WWE Backlash France next month which would be determined on this week’s SmackDown.
But before that, WWE embarked on their yearly United Kingdom tour for live shows, and The American Nightmare competed at his first WWE house show recently as the Undisputed WWE Champion, thrilling fans with a heartfelt speech.
Cody Rhodes began by acknowledging the fans’ support and expressed gratitude for the “You Deserve It” chants, highlighting the sold-out UK tour. Watching the massive success WWE has already garnered at the start of this circuit, Rhodes suggested that the United Kingdom deserved to host the grand spectacle of WWE, WrestleMania down the road.
Rhodes has raised the subject that was also advocated by the GOAT, John Cena at last year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view held in London. With the thought also endorsed by the current poster boy as well and the UK reportedly generating massive business for WWE, the country could very well be considered for hosting The Show of Shows down the road.
Do you think WWE should host a WrestleMania in the future after being endorsed by stars like Cody Rhodes and John Cena? Sound off in the comments!
