Carmelo Hayes’ First Remarks After Shocking Loss on 4/16 WWE NXT

Carmelo Hayes’ friendship with Trick Williams was one of the best things about NXT but he ultimately betrayed him at NXT Vengeance Day and after a lot of drama, the two finally faced each other at NXT Stand & Deliver, where Williams won. The same thing happened on NXT this week in the main event and now Hayes gave his first remarks after the loss.

The 4/16 episode of WWE NXT featured an intense main event match between Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. The conclusion of the match was filled with drama as Carmelo’s security team attempted to scale the cage to interfere. However, Williams met them at the top and managed to knock them all down.

Another guard then entered the cage carrying a chair. As Trick Williams dealt with the guard, Hayes grabbed the chair. However, Trick outsmarted Hayes and executed the Trick Shot through the chair, securing the win. The surprising turn of events led to Trick Williams emerging victorious over Carmelo Hayes in a thrilling match.

Following his shocking loss in what will likely be his last match on NXT, Carmelo Hayes took to Twitter and noted that that is all it was going to be, signifying his intention to write a new chapter in his career.

”And that’s all it’s gonna be. #WWENXT”

Carmelo Hayes also flipped off the fans after NXT went off the air. Regardless, we will have to wait and see which brand Carmelo Hayes will end up becoming a part of at the end of the month.
