Following her brilliant title defense against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania Night One, Rhea Ripley proved herself as one of the most dominant champions in the women’s wrestling history. However, little did the Judgment Day member know, another threat was looming around her in the form of Liv Morgan whose revenge tour resumed on Raw after WrestleMania.
Morgan unleashed a vicious assault on Ripley during the show which eventually turned out to injure the Women’s World Champion. During the 4/15 episode of WWE Raw, Ripley relinquished her Women’s World Championship due to her shoulder injury.
A new update from Wrestling Observer Radio has revealed the timeframe of Rhea Ripley’s shoulder injury. As per the update, Ripley suffered an AC Joint sprain and will take probably 4-6 weeks for her to gain mobility. Following that, the Judgment Day member might need 3 months to return to action.
This has hinted that Rhea Ripley might be out of action for around 5 months from now. With the title vacant, WWE will crown the new Women’s World Champion next week on Monday Night Raw. However, a tournament for the title has not been announced by the company yet. Ringside News will keep you updated on this story.
