While the wrestling industry has been enjoying immense success and love from fans in the past few months, things haven’t been the same for Tony Khan’s AEW. The company has been facing heavy backlash from fans and veterans from the industry in the past few weeks.
Ironically, though the product of AEW hasn’t been top notch, their roster includes some of the biggest names in the entire wrestling industry. From Mercedes Mone to Adam Copeland, Samoa Joe to Kazuchika Okada, Tony Khan has managed to bring some of the most talented stars on the roster to gain attraction.
While things aren’t working well for the company, two new names are bound to make their way to AEW very soon. As per Bodyslam.net, Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) are set to make their way to AEW very soon. Their contract with TNA ended in March and the stars are now set to make their AEW debut.
Surprisingly, Tony Khan released a number of stars from the roster a couple of weeks ago, claiming that they had to cut down their cost a bit. With new stars getting a chance in the company, it will be interesting to see how fans would react to his comments. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
