WrestleMania was a total blast and the main event from the Grandest Stage of them All has still got the world talking. From John Cena and The Undertaker’s appearance to Seth Rollins helping Cody Rhodes finally finish his story, the Undisputed WWE Championship match turned out to be a total treat.
While Seth Rollins was undoubtedly the MVP of WrestleMania 40, The Rock was clearly the unsung warrior. The success of WrestleMania totally multiplied, thanks to the involvement of the Final Boss in the company. Since his retirement from wrestling, WrestleMania season was the first time The Final Boss was around in the company for so long.
Addressing his return to the company, The Undertaker, during a recent episode of his Six Feet Under podcast, revealed that the Final Boss’ involvement was nothing but fun. The Deadman revealed that the Rock was gracious every time both men met, even after their in-ring interaction in the main event of Night Two.
“It was fun, it just was. It was like a little flashback. All my dealings with him, that night, he was so gracious. I just sensed he was happy being involved in that again. Obviously, he’s probably the biggest movie star out there. You could tell he was in his element and he was so kind and gracious to everybody. It was good to see. Overall, what a great week.”
The Rock has taken some time off WWE, but has cleared that he will be back in the company very soon. On the 4/15 episode of Raw, Cody Rhodes claimed that the Rock had more than one match left in him and would love to get in a feud with him again. Ringside News will keep you updated on this story.
