WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has been open about his struggles with injuries and health setbacks throughout his legendary wrestling career. Recently, Foley suffered a concussion, adding to the list of health issues he has faced. In light of this, Foley has now provided an update on his health.

Mick Foley disclosed his contemplation of emerging from retirement for a final match on his 60th birthday. The Hall of Famer clarified that if this return were to materialize, it would be within the context of deathmatch, explicitly stating that it would have to be held outside of WWE.

However, Mick Foley called off the match after revealing that he suffered a concussion last month. On his YouTube channel, Mick Foley has shared a positive update on his health following a concussion he suffered recently. Initially, Foley didn’t realize he had the concussion, but he has since noticed significant improvement and is feeling much better. He described the recovery process as feeling like coming to the surface after swimming underwater.

“Hello everyone this is Mick Foley with a concussion update. You might be able to tell by the tone of my voice it’s good news. Really good news even going into this weekend when I resumed my work schedule I was a little out of it but over the next three days wow really felt the fog lifting it’s kind of like coming to the surface after you’ve been swimming underwater.

Foley noted that he had a similar minor concussion six years ago after riding a roller coaster, and this recent episode has made him decide not to continue taking on the challenges of father time and mother nature. This wake-up call has led him to focus on his health and well-being.

”I last had one of these minor concussions six years ago after riding a roller coaster they shipped me from side to side and now following this episode, I decided that I am no longer going to be taking on the deadly duo of father time and mother nature because they commenced a kicking my butt and it’s not a rematch I’m looking to have so I’m really happy that in a weird way that I had this little wake up call. I really appreciate all the well wishes. People sent me. People concerned about me. I’m doing really good. Always appreciate your support. In case you’re wondering about this shirt. It is a custom shirt featuring my dog. Bernie that’s a nickname for Randall the dog named after Randy Orton. Just thought you’d like to know a little something to make your day nice.”

It is most definitely a relief that The Hardcore Legend is feeling much better now after suffering a concussion and we hope he continues to stay healthy, as that is all that fans want.
