Will Ospreay made the headlines all over the internet wrestling world after aiming direct shots at WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque at last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, in response to the comments made by The Game regarding talent hiring in WWE, where Ospreay did not fit the bill and chose to sign with their competitor.
WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash during the latest episode of the “Kliq This” podcast, discussed Will Ospreay’s recent jab at Triple H and speculated about the potential implications for him if he were to seek employment with WWE in the future.
“If you got the balls to fu**ing take a shot at the fu**ing boss’s wife and then you got you got the balls to fu**ing show up and ask for a fu**ing job, he better fu**ing be able to have the balls to take whatever he’s gonna dish.”
Moreover, the former WWE champion continued by stating although Will is an exceptional talent in the business, there was no need for him to go after Hunter, as he did not specifically point toward the Aerial Assassin in his appearance at WWE World where he raised the subject.
“Everything in this business is part of the show. Is Will Ospreay an exceptional talent in his style? Absolutely. Does he have a place in this business? Absolutely. Since Paul [Triple H] didn’t mention him by name, there’s no need for anyone to be upset. This situation highlights why he might not have made the move [to WWE]. He may not have a deep understanding of the business like others do. Jade [Cargill] was smart in her approach. Look at Jade.”
Triple H has continued to move on from signing free agents like Ospreay and focusing on the continuous growth of the company with records not seen in years. On the other hand, Will Ospreay is gearing up to battle The American Dragon Bryan Danielson at this month’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view show.
