WWE’s interest in acquiring top Japanese star Giulia had been the subject of much speculation and skepticism from fans. However, the wrestling world was surprised when Giulia made her debut at NXT Stand & Deliver, marking a significant move in her career. Giulia has now confirmed that she will be competing in Rossy Ogawa’s new promotion, Marigold, next month.

During the NXT Stand & Deliver Premium Live Event, Giulia’s unexpected appearance in the crowd before the NXT Women’s Title match between Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez left fans stunned. Afterwards, she would compete in her final match at STARDOM.

In case you didn’t know, the wrestling promotion Marigold is set to launch with a May 20 show at Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall titled “Marigold Fields Forever.” This inaugural event will be headlined by a tag team match featuring top talent from the wrestling world.

Giulia and a mystery partner will take on Sareee, formerly known as Sarray during her time in WWE NXT, and her mystery partner. The official Twitter account of the promotion also shared a short promo featuring Giulia, who hyped up the upcoming bout.

”Giulia of Marigold here. On May 20th, it’s the very first Marigold show! This is where Sareee and I battle, this is where it all begins. I will show you the future of Marigold.”

We will have to wait and see how long Giulia will remain in Marigold and help out Rossy Ogawa, as it is clear she will head right back to NXT and become a WWE Superstar once her tenure in Marigold is over.
