Following a storied career spanning multiple wrestling promotions, Matt Hardy finds himself as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with All Elite Wrestling. In response, Hardy has revealed that he is in discussions with numerous promotions.

Reports had indicated that Matt Hardy’s contract was set to expire in March of this year, a fact recently confirmed by Hardy himself. As previously reported, Matt Hardy’s contract with AEW expired recently.

During an episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the seasoned pro wrestler candidly discussed his contract status. Currently a free agent, Hardy confirmed ongoing discussions with AEW while also emphasizing that he’s engaged in conversations with “everyone” in the industry.

“Yes, I am a free agent now. Just negotiating, talking. I have interacted with everyone, still interacting with AEW, and that’s where we’re at right now. Whenever my deal ended up running out, that gave me the opportunity to negotiate and speak to everyone available, really weigh in my options, and that’s what I’m doing right now.”

Even though Matt Hardy has parted ways with AEW, he’s adamant that his wrestling journey is far from over. Fans eagerly await his next steps as speculation swirls about his future endeavors.
