Ex-WWE Star Calls Out Adam Copeland for Special Cope Open Match

Adam Copeland has been a mainstay of AEW television since debuting back at WrestleDream and he is currently the TNT Champion as well. In fact, a former WWE star has called out Copeland for a special match as well.

Adam Copeland brought back the Cope Open challenge for his TNT Championship after defeating Christian Cage for the title last month. Since then, he has been successfully defending his title frequently.

Former WWE Superstar Elijah Burke took to Twitter and proposed a Cope Open challenge featuring himself and The Rated R Superstar at Daily’s Place and even tagged Tony Khan to make it happen.

We will have to wait and see whether Elijah Burke and Adam Copeland will square off against each other in a singles match, as fans would love to see the two duke it out in the ring.
