Chad Gable Turns on Sami Zayn Following Conclusion of 4/15 WWE RAW

Chad Gable walked into Sami Zayn’s hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada with a chip on his shoulder. Following the conclusion of their fast-paced bout, Gable lost control of himself and snapped at the man he considered a friend.

Sami Zayn decided to repay Chad Gable for all the mentorship and training sessions that helped him overcome GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40 for the WWE Intercontinental title. He did just that by granting him a title match for tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW.

The match was everything the fans expected out of both the competitors, as Zayn and Gable displayed a classic and power-packed wrestling showdown for the fans in the audience at the Bell Center.

Despite Chad Gable’s best efforts, a last-minute Helluva kick was all Sami Zayn needed to put down the leader of the Alpha Academy to retain his championship. Following the end, Gable in a show of respect raised Sami’s hand in victory and exited the ring.

However, as Sami Zayn went to greet his wife after his victory, Gable attacked him from behind and continued the assault ringside. The show concluded with Chad Gable locking in the ankle lock as Zayn was strangled from the top of the turnbuckle leaving the fans in shock to see their friendship crumble to pieces.
