Will Ospreay made waves last year when he officially joined AEW signaling his shift to a full-time member of the AEW roster and has been off to a fantastic start in the company as one of the top signees for AEW President and CEO Tony Khan.

At AEW Full Gear, Will Ospreay announced his decision to join AEW full-time once he fulfills his commitments with NJPW, concluding in February 2024 and despite engaging in talks with various promotions including the global juggernaut, WWE, Ospreay ultimately chose to sign with AEW.

The Aerial Assassin recently appeared on Hey! (EW) on Sunday, where he engaged in a wide-ranging conversation with RJ City. Among the topics discussed, one particularly poignant moment came when Ospreay revealed that he struggles with several learning difficulties, including ADHD and dyslexia.

During the conversation, Ospreay shared that he had to rely on someone else to read his AEW contract to him due to his dyslexia. Despite these challenges, he expressed hope that his journey and accomplishments would inspire others who face similar learning difficulties.

“In the school system, I didn’t find out a lot about myself until after I left. So I wasn’t afforded any of the extra time. There were so many things in my education that I really needed help on and I didn’t get that help and it’s not just me, it’s a a wide bunch of people. So finding out all this about myself, I just want to show people that like, you know, like, yeah, I’ve got autism. I have ADHD as well. I’m super dyslexic. I can’t read. I had to have someone read my contract out for me. So like, it’s super embarrassing, man. It really is. But like, I feel like I’ve got to the point where I am because of all these things that make me who I am and I want to inspire people. So like, a lot of people don’t take risks on people that do have autism around my area. I would like to hope that seeing me doing this stuff, it does inspire other people.”

Ospreay has already been to an excellent start in the company and is set to face Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty, taking place on Sunday, April 21 in St. Louis, Missorri in a dream showdown, promising an exciting match for fans to anticipate.
