Three Matches Announced for 4/19 WWE SmackDown

The first edition of Friday Night SmackDown in the new era of WWE, emanating from the Motor City, Detroit, Michigan proved to be a spectacular show setting the tone for another exciting edition for next week with three matches announced for the show.

As we saw on tonight’s edition of the show, Naomi defeated Tiffany Stratton to earn a title opportunity which she will get next week as The GLOW collides with the new WWE Women’s Champion Bayley for her championship.

In the tag team division, four explosives teams, namely The Street Profits, New Catch Republic, Legado Del Fantasma, and Authors of Pain would collide in a Fatal 4-Way tag team match to earn the right to challenge new SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, collectively known as A-Town Down Under.

Finally, the winners of tonight’s two triple-threat matches, LA Knight and AJ Styles would square against each other in a WrestleMania 40 rematch with the winner moving on to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Backlash in France next month.
