The Bloodline walked into tonight’s edition of SmackDown with everything completely revamped, now that Roman Reigns is no longer the ruler of the blue brand after being dethroned by Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40.
The trio of Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, and the Wiseman Paul Heyman after witnessing their Tribal Chief’s personal locker room taken over by the new champion, Cody Rhodes came down the aisle to address the events of WrestleMania 40.
Paul Heyman began the address by reflecting on how Rhodes’ distraction cost him the title at WrestleMania 39. Similarly, Roman Reigns’ hatred and obsession with Seth Rollins distracted him long enough for Cody Rhodes to knock The Tribal Chief off his pedestal and become the new champion.
The Wiseman was interrupted by Solo Sikoa, who proclaimed that losing had its own consequences and it was time for a change in The Bloodline pointing towards Jimmy Uso who failed to protect The Tribal Chief’s reign. At that very moment, Solo hugged Jimmy only for a hooded individual to attack him, later revealed to be another member of the Anoa’i family, Tama Tonga, the son of WWE Legend Haku.
Solo and Tonga brutally assaulted their own blood, despite the pleas of Paul Heyman who Solo almost knocked down, but did not at the last moment. In the end, he and Tamam Tonga left their family member laid to waste with a steel chair smash combo move in the corner of the ring, beaten and broken, signaling the rise of a new Bloodline from the ashes.
