WWE has been making numerous changes to their production unit in the past few months. From changes in the management to a few experiments in the production, fans have been enjoying the new and fresh things. In recent weeks, the biggest change in WWE came after Lee Fittings joined the company as the Head of Communications and Production.
Following WrestleMania 40, a new news update shocked the wrestling world. Dan Ventrelle, former Head of Talent Relations, was removed from the company. The WWE Universe analysed it as one of may be numerous removals coming up. But things didn’t go that way.
Fightful Select has now revealed the reason for Ventrelle’s removal. Numerous talent’s contract expiry became an issue for Ventrelle and he wasn’t adored with the reaction of the production. He also didn’t feel he was in the perfect position in the company.
“Ventrelle was seemingly not adored by talent on a professional level, as we’ve heard several pointing the finger at him as a reason why many deals have nearly reached expiration. We’re told that he was actively discussing several new deals at the time of his return, but several within the industry didn’t feel as if he was an appropriate fit in the position he was in, negotiating deals with talent.”
While a replacement for Dan Ventrelle is yet to be named, WWE buckle up with a lot coming up for them in the next few months. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
