LA Knight has proven himself as one of the most remarkable WWE talents of the modern era, evolving from an enhancement talent to becoming one of the most popular attractions on the main roster.
The leader of the YEAH! movement is known to captivate the audience with his charismatic personality, in-ring acumen, and the ability to put highly exhilarating performances inside the squared circle.
Moreover, LA Knight is coming off a huge victory this past weekend on WrestleMania 40 Sunday, where he squared off against a bonafide wrestling legend, The Phenomenal AJ Styles, and picked up a huge win over him in Philidelphia.
Despite all his success, AEW veteran and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, on the recent edition of his Grillin JR podcast stated that WWE needs to push LA Knight more. While he credited his work ethic and recent success, Ross believed that there is more needed to cement his position as a main event talent on the roster.
“LA Knight is one of the favorites of the (WWE) office. I haven’t totally bought into his persona. And not to say that in a bad way – I haven’t seen him do anything I didn’t like. I just gotta feel it more. I gotta feel it more. “They gotta do a little bit more character development to get me to buy in on who this dude is and why I should give a shit. “But, he’s got a good future ahead of him, no doubt about that. “And LA Knight can talk, he can take bumps, he can feed a comeback, he can mechanically execute what is needed to be done.”
With LA Knight’s first WrestleMania match ending in victory, it would be interesting to see if WWE decides to continue his momentum and possibly position him for a run as a champion, adding a little extra as Jim Ross mentioned to ascend to the next level of stardom.
