Cody Rhodes Declares Himself Ready For His First Challenger on 4/12 WWE SmackDown Episode

Cody Rhodes had to scratch and claw his way to finish his story and dethrone the most dominant champion of the modern era to win his first WWE World Championship and usher the company into a new time.

The American Nightmare opened tonight’s edition of SmackDown by walking down the aisle with his new Undisputed WWE championship and was welcomed by a standing ovation by the audience chanting ‘You Deserve it.’ Cody reflected back on the confrontation with The Rock on RAW this week and vowed to deal with him once he returns to WWE after his hiatus.

The Undisputed WWE Champion then turned his attention towards his potential No.1 contender for WWE’s upcoming PLE, Backlash set to take place in Lyon, France and decided through a series of matches that would begin on tonight’s show. Addressing each of them separately, Rhodes proclaimed that he was ready to welcome them all.

Moreover, Cody Rhodes reminded him that he was no longer the hunter, but the hunted and he was ready for them. Moreover, he clearly stated that he has evolved from the Undesirable to The Undeniable and the leader of the new WWE era that has dawned upon them.
