WWE wrapped up WrestleMania season last week with the event clinching record-smashing numbers and achieving milestones not seen in years for the global juggernaut with all its festivities.
Moreover, the company has ushered into a brand new era led by WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque and with new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes as the face of the company.
The Game continued the momentum of Rhodes’ amazing WrestleMania 40 win over Roman Reigns by positioning as the top attraction for their upcoming PLE, WWE Backlash set to take place next month in France.
Triple H took to his Instagram to drop a new poster of WWE Backlash with Cody Rhodes holding his Championship and potentially being slated for his first huge title defense in front of the French audience.
“A new era for a new champion… and next month, the WWE Universe in France helps usher it in. #WWEBacklash France streams live from @ldlc_arena May 4 at a special start time of 1pm ET @peacock@wwenetwork.”
While no matches have been announced for the show, it can be perceived that the first show of WWE’s new era would prove to be a monumental success with a revamped landscape and brand-new ambitions prevailing over the entire company.
