Zelina Vega, who has been experiencing career growth since her return to WWE in 2022, has made headlines for her work as a WWE Superstar. However, she is now facing controversy as more accusations have surfaced regarding her alleged failure to compensate artists for their work.
As previously reported, a prop maker named mecha_musume on Instagram accused Zelina Vega of underpaying them for a custom project and causing them significant inconvenience.
In light of this incident, another artist on Twitter named Sangre uploaded a screenshot of a private conversation he had with Zelina Vega a few years ago, when the artist was still new to the field.
The artist revealed that Zelina Vega did not give him compensation and royalties for work had done for her and felt it was wrong of him to even ask for money, just because she met up with him backstage after a show.
”this happened years ago. i thought i did something wrong for asking for credit/compensation and i was young so i didn’t have any experience working with a celebrity/i was kindly brought backstage during a show”
”no,this started from me making fanart for her (i didn’t asked to get paid for those lol, they were fanart) then we talked about a controller design commission. she said she would send me a contract in a month but then i asked about getting royalties. thats where things went south”
We will have to wait and see whether more artists will come forward with their own stories concerning Zelina Vega, as it appears she might have stiffed more artists in the past.
