WWE Star Sustained Injury During NXT Stand & Deliver

Pro wrestling is a very physical sport and injuries can happen at any time. In fact, it has been confirmed that a WWE star sustained an injury during their championship match at the NXT Stand & Deliver event over WrestleMania 40 weekend.

The highly anticipated Premium Live Event took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 6th and fans were excited for Oba Femi’s match, as he put his NXT North American Title on the line against Dijak and Josh Briggs, where Femi would ultimately retain his title.

During this week’s episode of NXT, commentator Vic Joseph delivered an update on the status of Briggs. According to Joseph’s announcement, Briggs endured two cracked ribs during the match. However, no further details were provided, with Joseph mentioning that WWE hopes to provide more updates in the coming weeks.
