Kairi Sane, part of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Asuka as part of Damage CTRL, has been riding a wave of success. However, she found herself embroiled in controversy following accusations from Mark Henry, who claimed she disrespected the business at WrestleMania 40. Now, Mark Henry has reinforced his stance, doubling down on his remarks.

Mark Henry didn’t hold back his disappointment regarding Kairi Sane’s actions. He expressed frustration over Sane’s reluctance to leave the ring as her WrestleMania 40 opponents—Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi—made their entrances.

As a WWE Hall of Famer, Henry criticized what he saw as a lack of respect for the wrestling industry from the Pirate Princess. He emphasized the importance of upholding wrestling traditions and hinted that if he had been in her position, he would have swiftly rectified the situation.

“Bully [Ray] and Tommy [Dreamer] both going to understand this when I say this. I’m saying if I was a girl and I was in that match and I get my entrance and I come in the ring and I wipe my feet and I stand in, step into the ring, and Kairi Sane’s ass is still walking in the ring, I’m taking her head off.

Give me the f*cking ring. I’m the guy. She should have got out the f*cking ring. I was so mad. You got to respect the business first. And she didn’t, but she would if I would have been in the ring.”

While speaking on Busted Open Radio today, Mark Henry addressed the backlash he got for his comments about Kairi Sane. In response, Henry doubled down on his comments and stated that fans are not a WWE Hall of Famer like him, so they don’t know what they are talking about.

“These Gen Z people, guys, I know more than you. You’re a fan. You’re not a Hall of Famer.”

Kairi Sane has also broken her silence on the matter. While Mark Henry voiced his disappointment with Kairi Sane’s actions, it’s evident that she maintains a solid support network within the wrestling industry. Differing opinions are a common occurrence in the wrestling community, but what truly counts is the mutual respect and camaraderie among its members.
