Cody Rhodes pinned Roman Reigns in a classic main event match to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 40. However, that wasn’t something that fans expected after rumors of a new addition to the WWE roster surfaced the internet. Hours before the Grandest Stage of them All, rumors suggested that Jacob Fatu had signed with WWE.
Though the main event match featured the likes of John Cena and The Undertaker, Jacob Fatu wasn’t seen. The latter being from the Samoan family, the WWE Universe expected he would be a part of the Bloodline story, helping his Tribal Chief Roman Reigns to win.
A new update from Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has suggested WWE’s plans for Fatu’s debut in the company. As per the update, Jacob Fatu is expected to be on WWE TV soon. In addition to that, Meltzer claimed that Fatu would also get a push from the company.
“Well, he signed with WWE. And he’s going to be starting soon and getting a push from what we understand.”
While Jacob Fatu might make his WWE debut very soon, the brand he lands on is yet to be known. Traditionally, Fatu moving to NXT for some time would be the best decision. However, with the Bloodline story hot right now, Fatu also getting engaged would be massive.
