Former WWE Champion Sheamus has been out of action since his match against AEW star, Adam Copeland, on Smackdown last year. The Celtic Warrior has been dealing with a shoulder injury since the conclusion of that match and has missed one of the peak times of his career due to that.
However, the WWE Universe has been expecting his return for a few weeks now. On the 4/8 episode of Raw, WWE aired a video package of the Celtic Warrior, teasing the star’s return to the company very soon. Since the package has aired, the WWE Universe have been excited to see the former WWE Champion back.
A new report from Fightful Select has revealed details about his potential return. As per the update, Sheamus’s video package being featured isn’t a hint that he will return to WWE next week. Rather, his return might be held until the conclusion of WWE Draft 2024.
“We’re told that it’s possible that Sheamus may not return until the week of the draft, or won’t have a defined brand until then.“
Sheamus’ faction, the Brawling Brutes, was disbanded a few weeks following the former WWE Champion’s injury. With his return plans now in place, a singles run for Sheamus won’t be a big surprise. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story as more information becomes available.
