Samantha Irwin Gets Emotional While Announcing Cody Rhodes Victorious At WrestleMania 40

Emotions have been running high since the conclusion of WrestleMania 40 as Cody Rhodes finally defeated Roman Reigns to become the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. While Rhodes won the biggest match of his career, WWE’s booking for the match with numerous surprise appearances involved turned out to be the highlight. 

Among numerous names who appeared during the match, The Undertaker and John Cena had the world buzzing. However, the biggest moment throughout the match still pertains to Cody Rhodes finishing his story despite the odds stacked against him. This was followed by numerous superstars making their way out to the ring to celebrate Cody’s victory in one of the most emotional moments in WrestleMania history. 

Following his win, while Samatha Irwin was announcing the winner, the emotions running through her could be felt in her voice. A new video has also surfaced the internet featuring Samatha’s reaction to Cody Rhodes finally finishing the story at the Grandest Stage of them All. 

During the victory celebration, Rhodes went on to hug Michael Cole when the latter also got emotional. While these are just a few names, millions around the world weren’t able to control their emotion following the massive win for Rhodes.
