Drew McIntyre had a profane reaction after losing the World Championship mere moments after winning it at WrestleMania 40 Sunday, at the hands of Damian Priest.

When Drew McIntyre won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40, it was a somewhat feel-good moment. Despite his recent heelish behavior, McIntyre had made a compelling argument throughout the build-up, reminding fans of his importance to WWE during the pandemic era of shows, even as late as the WrestleMania pre-show.

However, the joy of his win was short-lived as McIntyre didn’t fully celebrate. Instead, he moved on to taunting CM Punk at ringside. Their verbal sparring escalated into a physical altercation, attracting the attention of Damian Priest, who ran out and successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase for an immediate title shot.

Mere moments after winning it, Drew McIntyre lost the title and reacted on Twitter with a profane response. Naturally, McIntyre was shocked at what transpired.
