Rhea Ripley’s status as one of the premier female WWE Superstars is unquestionable as she continues to prove her in-ring dominance week in and week out. At WWE’s live event on 23rd March, Ripley once again proved her talents and made waves by performing Rikishi’s signature Stinkface move on her opponent, Nia Jax.

In response to Ripley’s use of the Stinkface, Rikishi himself addressed the moment on his podcast, RIKISHI FATU OFF THE TOP. Reflecting on the incident, Rikishi expressed amusement at Ripley’s rendition of the move and praised her for carrying on the tradition.

“I got more texts, videos sent to me, Instagram, TikTok, on the Twitter, whatever. I was wondering why the hell everybody’s tagging me on this. So I popped it open, man, and there was Rhea Ripley. Rhea was backing it up, boy. She lift them tights up, them wasabi. The wasabi, it was kind of wanting to do its own thing. She’s doing her thing, man, and a big shout-out to Rhea. It’s funny to me, to be able to see the new generation out there backing it up and keeping it going,”

In case you missed it, Ripley successfully managed to defend her WWE Women’s World Championship in her triple threat match against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. Ripley has now set her sights on her upcoming WrestleMania 40 match against Becky Lynch. It remains to be seen how Ripley will perform in this high stakes match-up.
