Jon Moxley is no stranger to making appearances in NJPW, as he was present during Wrestle Kingdom 18 earlier this year and now he is set for a huge IWGP World Heavyweight Title match at NJPW Windy City Riot.

The main event of New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Sakura Genesis featured members of Los Ingobernables de Japon battling for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Tetsuya Naito emerged victorious, successfully defending his title against Yota Tsuji by executing the ‘Destino’ for the decisive win.

Since February, it has been official that Tetsuya Naito would face Jon Moxley at NJPW Windy City Riot on April 12th in Chicago, Illinois. During Sakura Genesis, Moxley joined Naito in the ring, where Naito offered to put his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the line for their impending match and it was then made official.

This is certainly a major match and it will be the first time Jon Moxley and Tetsuya Naito battle it out in the ring since 2019, so we will have to wait and see who will come out on top in the end.
