Ahead of his World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40, WWE star Drew McIntyre has encountered a setback as his ring gear has been lost in delivery.
CM Punk, originally slated to challenge Rollins before his injury at the Royal Rumble, will instead provide commentary for the match.
Just over 24 hours before the showdown, McIntyre took to Twitter to express his frustration, stating:
“So @UPS have lost my gear before #WrestleMania As you’ve got no use for yours @CMPunk can I borrow some trunks?”
McIntyre isn’t the only WWE star facing challenges this weekend. Cody Rhodes’ tour bus caught fire a couple of days ago, and Corey Graves found himself stuck in an elevator at the hotel earlier today.
Here’s hoping for smooth sailing from here on out. As a reminder, Ringside News will be doing a play-by-play coverage of the Grandest Stage of them All. Stay connected to get the latest updates about the show.
