The recent transition of The Rock into a heel persona has injected WWE programming with a revitalizing and exhilarating energy and he has now reflected on his 12-week training journey ahead of WrestleMania 40.
At WrestleMania 40 night one, The Rock is poised to engage in his first officially promoted match since WrestleMania 29. He will join forces with Roman Reigns to confront Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in what promises to be a highly anticipated showdown.
Ahead of the bout, The Rock shared training footage and offered insights into his rigorous training regimen on his social media platform Twitter.
”My 12 week training camp for #WrestleMania has been intense and unlike anything I’ve ever done. Pushing myself physically, mentally and psychologically to places I’ve never gone. The men I’m wrestling this weekend at WrestleMania are the best in the world. My respect for them is boundless. My love for pro wrestling is forever. Honored to share the ring, go to war in our squared circle and entrain the fans. Here’s a raw and uncut look at one of my final training sessions this week. Audaces Fortuna Iuvat,
– Final Boss”
The Rock also plans to give a surprise gift to Cody Rhodes’ mother. We will have to wait and see how The Rock and Roman Reigns will fare against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40 Night One.
